꿈은 작게 시작해서 서서히 성취됩니다!

희망찬 새해가 시작되었습니다. 새해가 시작되면 우리는 꿈을 꿉니다. 꿈은 아주 소중합니다. 꿈은 더 나은 미래를 의미합니다. 꿈은 우리가 살아가는 이유입니다. 꿈은 거룩한 소원입니다. 꿈은 거룩한 목표입니다. 꿈은 뜻을 정하는 것입니다. 꿈은 거대한 에너지입니다. 꿈이 있는 사람은 강합니다. 어떤 시련도 견뎌냅니다. 꿈이 있는 사람은 준비합니다. 꿈이 있는 사람은 꿈을 성취하는 데 필요한 것들을 배우고 익힙니다. 배운다는 것은 꿈꾸는 미래를 준비한다는 것입니다. 제가 학습을 강조하는 이유는 꿈꾸는 목회자이기 때문입니다. 또한 교육은 하나님의 아이디어이기 때문입니다(신 6:4-9; 마 11:29-30).

하나님이 꿈의 원천이십니다. 하나님은 꿈꾸시는 하나님이십니다. 천지창조는 하나님의 꿈에서 시작되었습니다. 구속의 드라마도 하나님의 거룩한 꿈에서 시작되었습니다. 하나님은 우리에게 꿈을 꾸게 하십니다. 우리가 꿈을 꾸는 것 같지만 사실은 하나님이 우리 안에서 소원을 두고 행하게 하십니다(빌 2:13). 또한 성령님이 임하시면 꿈을 꾸게 됩니다. 성령님이 임하시면 젊은이들은 비전을 갖게 됩니다. 어른들은 꿈을 꾸게 됩니다(행 2:17). 성경에 나오는 꿈을 꾸고, 그 꿈을 성취했던 사람들 속에는 거룩한 영이 함께 했습니다. 꿈의 사람 요셉을 지켜보았던 바로 왕이 그 안에 하나님의 영이 함께 하신 것을 보았습니다(창 41:38). 하나님의 꿈을 꾸었던 다윗은 하나님의 영이 충만했습니다(삼상 16:13).

하나님의 사람들에게 꿈은 선택이 아니라 필수입니다. 예수님은 제자들과 우리들에게 세계 선교의 꿈을 심어주셨습니다. 모든 민족을 제자로 삼으라는 비전을 품게 하셨습니다(마 28:19-20). 예수님은 우리에게 주신 꿈을 성취할 수 있도록 성령님을 보내주셨습니다(행 1:8). 제가 꿈을 소중히 여기는 까닭은 꿈은 성령 충만과 밀접한 관련이 있기 때문입니다. 하나님이 주시는 꿈은 결코 이기적인 꿈이 아닙니다. 만민의 생명을 구원하고자 하는 꿈입니다(창 50:20). 야심은 하나님이 아닌 인간 스스로가 만들어 낸 꿈입니다. 야심은 이기적일 때가 많습니다. 반면에 하나님이 주신 꿈은 하나님에게서 시작됩니다. 하나님이 주신 꿈은 자신뿐만 아니라 가족과 공동체와 세계를 유익하게 만듭니다.

꿈꾸는 사람들은 믿음의 사람들입니다. 꿈을 꾼다는 것은 그 꿈이 이루어질 것이라고 믿는 것입니다. 그래서 꿈과 믿음, 믿음과 꿈은 함께 동행하는 좋은 친구입니다. 헨리 포드는 “세상은 꿈꾸는 사람과 믿음의 사람에 의해 움직인다.”라고 말했습니다. 꿈꾸는 자와 믿는 자가 세상을 움직입니다. 꿈꾸는 사람은 과거에 얽매이지 않습니다. 꿈은 과거 지향적이 아니라 언제나 미래지향적입니다. 과거를 초월하고, 과거를 극복할 수 있는 길은 꿈을 꾸는 것입니다. 과거를 떨쳐버릴 수 있는 힘은 꿈에 있습니다. 꿈은 무엇인가를 소유하고, 위대한 일을 성취하고, 어느 곳을 향해 나아가고, 어떤 인물이 되는 것들과 관련되어 있습니다. 하나님은 꿈을 통해 우리를 축복하십니다. 꿈을 통해 놀라운 일들을 성취하십니다.

꿈을 성취하기 위해서는 전략이 필요합니다. 꿈은 크게, 시작은 작게 해야 합니다. 꿈을 성취하기 위해서는 목표를 세워야 합니다. 목표를 달성하기 위한 계획을 세워야 합니다. 또한 구체적인 실천 계획을 세워야 합니다. 그 과정에서 필요한 것은 작은 출발입니다. 작은 첫 걸음을 가볍게 여기지 마십시오. 중국의 현인은 “천리 길도 한 걸음부터”라고 말했습니다. 거대한 성(城)도 작은 벽돌에서 시작됩니다. 감동을 주는 책도 한 줄을 쓰는 것으로부터 시작됩니다. 지혜로운 사람은 작은 것의 힘을 아는 사람입니다.

꿈은 작게 서서히 성취됩니다. 사람도 작게 서서히 성장하게 됩니다. 큰 꿈은 하루 밤 사이에 이루어지지 않습니다. 작은 꿈은 빨리 성취할 수 있지만 큰 꿈은 오랜 시간 걸립니다. 중요한 것은 꿈을 꾸는 것입니다. 꿈이 없이는 꿈을 성취할 수 없습니다. 목표가 없이는 목표를 달성할 수 없습니다. 꿈은 작은 씨앗 같습니다. 그 씨앗을 심고, 기도로 물을 주고, 사랑과 정성으로 가꾸게 되면 언젠가는 그 꿈이 이루어지는 것을 경험하게 됩니다. 꿈을 꾸었다면 꿈을 성취하기 위해 작게 시작하십시오. 작은 것이 쌓이고, 축적될 때 어느 순간 변곡점을 만들어냅니다. 마치 작은 물방울이 계속 떨어질 때 바위를 뚫는 것과 같습니다. 성경 통독도 한 장에서 시작됩니다. 성경 암송도 한 단어에서 시작됩니다. 천천히 서두르십시오. 너무 조급해도 안 되지만 너무 게을러도 안 됩니다. 목표를 설정했다면 작게라도 시작하십시오. 매일 작은 일을 반복하십시오. 때가 되면 놀라운 성취를 이루게 될 것입니다. 사랑하는 성도님들, 주님 안에서 함께 꿈을 꾸고, 꿈을 성취하는 한 해가 되기를 소원합니다. 복되고 희망찬 새 해가 되시길 기도드립니다.

A Dream Starts Small and is Slowly Accomplished!

A hopeful New Year has begun. When the new year begins, we dream. Dreams are very precious. Dreams mean a better future. Dreams are the reason we live. Dream is a holy desire. Dream is a holy goal. Dream is to determine. Dream is an enormous energy. A person with a dream is strong. He or she can endure any trials. A person with a dream prepares. A person with a dream learns and acquires the things needed to accomplish his dream. To learn is to prepare for a future with dreams. I emphasize learning because I am a dreaming pastor. And it is also because education is God’s idea (Dt 6:4-9; Mt 11: 29-30).

God is the source of dreams. God is a God who dreams. The creation of heaven and earth began as God’s dream. The drama of redemption also began in God’s holy dream. God makes us dream. It seems that we are dreaming, but in fact, God makes us do what we desire in Christ (Php 2:13). And when the Holy Spirit comes, you will dream. When the Holy Spirit comes, young people will have visions. Adults will have dreams (Ac 2:17). The Holy Spirit was with those who dreamed and accomplished their dreams in the Bible. King Pharaoh saw Joseph, a man of dreams, and saw that the Spirit of God was with him (Ge 41:38). David, who had dreamed of God, was filled with the Spirit of God (1Sa 16:13).

To God’s people, dreams are essential, not a choice. Jesus gave His disciples and us the dream of global missions. He gave us visions of making disciples of all nations (Mt 28:19-20). Jesus sent the Holy Spirit to accomplish the dreams that He had given us (Ac 1:8). I cherish my dreams because dreams are closely related to the filling of the Holy Spirit. God’s dream is not a selfish dream. It is a dream to save the lives of all peoples (Ge 50:20). Ambition is a dream created by man himself, not God. Ambition is often selfish. On the other hand, the dream that God gives starts from God. God’s dream is beneficial not only to oneself, but also to families, communities and to the world.

Dreamers are men of faith. Dreaming is believing that the dream will come true. So dreams and beliefs, and beliefs and dreams, are good friends who accompany one another. Henry Ford said, “The world is driven by dreamers and men of faith.” The dreamer and the man of faith move the world. The dreamer is not bound to the past. Dreams are not past-oriented, but always future-oriented. The way to leave the past and overcome the past is to dream. The strength to shake off the past is in dreams. Dreams are related to what we possess, what we accomplish, what we move towards, and what kind of person we become. God blesses us through dreams. Through dreams He accomplishes amazing things.

To accomplish your dreams, you need a strategy. We should dream big, but start small. To accomplish your dreams, you must set a goal. You also need to set up a plan to attain your goals. In addition, a detailed action plan must be planned. What you need in the process is a small start. Do not take the small first step lightly. The sage in China said, “A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.” The huge castle also begins with a small brick. An inspirational book starts with writing a single line. A wise man is someone who knows the power of small things.

Dreams are slowly accomplished on a small scale. People also grow slowly on a small scale. A big dream does not come true overnight. Small dreams can be accomplished quickly, but big dreams take time. The important thing is to dream. Without dreams, dreams cannot be accomplished. Without goals, you cannot achieve your goals. Dreams are like little seeds. If you plant the seeds, water with prayer, and cultivate with love and care, you will someday experience the fulfillment of your dreams. If you dream a dream, start small to accomplish your dream. When small things pile up and accumulate, they create a point of inflection at some moment. It is like you can pierce a rock when a droplet of water continues to fall. Bible reading also begins with one chapter. Bible memorization also begins with one word. Please hurry slowly. You should not be too hasty, and you should not be too lazy, either. If you set a goal, start small. Repeat small things every day. Then at a certain point in time, you will accomplish remarkable achievements. Beloved saints, I hope to dream and accomplish our dreams together in the Lord. I pray that this new year will be blessed and hopeful to you.
